Defence Finance Monitor is a professional research publication covering European defence, dual-use industries and critical infrastructure. It connects security priorities with regulation, public funding, procurement, companies, technologies and the industrial capacity needed to meet demand.

For companies and suppliers, the research examines how a capability requirement becomes an accessible commercial opportunity. The relevant programme, eligibility conditions, ownership and control requirements, procurement route and production constraints need to be assessed together. Announced expenditure, allocated funding and an awarded contract establish different facts about demand.

For investors, banks, law firms and advisory teams, these distinctions support company assessment, financing, transactions and client work. Company and technology profiles place individual businesses within the institutional demand, dependencies and supply chains that affect their economic relevance.

The evidence base includes European and national legislation, programme documents, procurement material, institutional data and company disclosures. Analysis distinguishes what a source establishes: an approved measure, documented implementation, a company disclosure, a political statement or an expectation of future activity. Linked evidence lets readers examine the basis of the assessment.

Continuing research follows programmes, industrial requirements and company participation as they develop. The focus is on the capabilities and constraints that determine whether investment becomes usable capacity. Sign up to the Defence Finance Monitor newsletter to follow this research. The publication’s subscription page sets out the available access options and their terms.
